Tourist Visa Application Process

  • Please apply for your visa using the below online visa application form. In the “Select Embassy/Consulate/Mission” section, make sure to choose Honorary Consulate of Nepal, New South Wales

  • To proceed with the processing, please transfer amount to the following account:

    Visa fee based on entry duration

    • 15-Day Multiple Entry Visa: For short-term visits, valid for 15 days from the date of entry. Fee: AUD $60.00.
    • 30-Day Multiple Entry Visa: Suitable for month-long travels, valid for 30 days from the date of entry. Fee: AUD $96.00.
    • 90-Day Multiple Entry Visa: Best for extended stays, valid for 90 days from the date of entry. Fee: AUD $240.00.
  • Email the receipt along with your application details to info@consulatenepal.org

  • You do not need to visit our consulate office; an electronic copy of your visa grant and payment receipt will be emailed to you, which you can conveniently print at home.

Visa on Arrival Restrictions

Tourist visa on arrival is available for all passport holders except Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan & Syria. Contact us specific details.

Visa Requirements

  • All foreign nationals, except Indians, need a valid visa for Nepal.
  • Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your departure date.

Gratis Visa Information

Gratis visas are available for children under ten and other eligible categories, free of charge for up to 30 days.

Important Notice

  • Visa fees are non-refundable.
  • Passport must be valid for 6 months prior to travel.
  • Visa extension: Up to 120 days from the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu and Pokhara; an additional 30 days can be extended thereafter, not exceeding 150 days total.
